Ok this has sorta been a long time coming and I've needed to do one of these.

First off I just want to thank everyone who has commissioned me thus far. It really means alot to me that people are actually willing to pay real money for my artwork. It means alot and it has really helped me for saving up for things for the future. Trust me I don't use that money for a pack of M&M's and a shonen jump magazine.

Second, an issue has been brought to my attention and actually it's been rolling around in my head for a little while now. Thus, I've decided to rethink and change my commission prices. Now here's where you get to gripe and groan because I am raising them from $25. Why? Quite frankly: I think I put more than $25 worth of work into each commission I do. Often times it takes me a couple days to finish a huge piece for a smaller price. So I feel like I'm just underselling and hurting myself that way when I could be making closer to what I think I deserve. Each piece I do is with tender love and care. I pay attention to little details to get it as good as I can. If this were considered an actual job that'd be like saying I get paid $25 a day....that's really not going to get me very far by today's standards. I know alotta ppl are probably gonna hate me now and I apologize but it's my decision. If you want my art your going to have to pay. I'm not trying to sound egotistical at all. I've paid nearly 4 times the amount I charge now for a commission before. I just feel that I really do put more than $25-30 work into a commission.

*wipes forehead*

Ok so here is the new and updated commission info:

Things you all should know before commissioning me:
-I won't do traditional art. That takes longer and I like digital media better anyway.
-I won't do a super complicated bg. I.E. A character in the middle of a big city or forest. I'm not good at them anyway. We're sticking with simple bgs for now. Unless you and I work something out, I'm not doing it. Examples of what I do are below.
-I won't do flat out porn/rated X material. I will draw naked characters but in only in an artistic and tasteful manner. Yaoi and Yuri are ok as long as they follow guidlines above. (No ones ever asked me to do that but it's there yadda yadda.)
-I accept paypal (easiest and best for me), checks, money orders or well concealed cash if you're that bold. I live in the US so if you live overseas keep that in mind when paying. I only accept US $$.
-I take all payments first. After which I will send you a sketch for you to look at/approve. Once approved I'll finish the piece and email you the small and large/uncopyrighted version as well as ask your permission to post on deviantart. (Deviantart is the only site I post all commissions).
-If your not sure what I can draw, LOOK in my gallery...that might help xD. I'm always willing to try new things though.
-I AM slow! If you are wanting an image in a hurry, I'm not the one to come to. I apologize but I am a slow artist. I will NOT forget about you but it just may take me some time. Keep this in mind!!

Updated Commission prices:

One character cg'd image w/ plain bg -- $40
Example:


-If you want any additional characters added to a color image add $10 to price.
-If you want any lights/special fx/etc in an image add $10 to price.
Example:


One character inked image -- $25
Example:


-If you want any additional characters added to a b/w image add $10 to price.

One character sketch -- $15
-any additional characters add $5 to price.

So for example if you wanted two characters who were fighting each other with lots of sparks and lighting all around that would be a $60 image. (40+10+10)

That's all I can think of for now. If you are wanting something different than listed above you can always note me and we can discuss it. Again I'm sure my higher prices will turn a few more ppl away but this is just how it's gotta be. I don't think that's too unreasonable. Like I said I've paid more than that. Prices are always subject to change depending on the image. Feel free to note me and discuss it. :3
